The Ricoh Women’s British Open is one of the golfing highlights of the sporting calendar. As one of only two women Major’s played outside the US, it is the most international field of the year with the 2017 line-up boasting players from 27 different nations, including 25 of the world’s top 25 on the Rolex Rankings.
Reigning champion I.K. Kim will defend her title against the world’s best including current World No.1 Inbee Park, the youngest ever world No.1 Lydia Ko, Americans Lexi Thompson, Michelle Wie, Stacy Lewis and Paula Creamer as well as past champions Ariya Jutanugarn, Yani Tseng and Mo Martin. UK favourites Charley Hull, Georgia Hall and Catriona Matthew will also be teeing it up to try and capture the title.
Along with the superb golf on show, spectators will find the perfect opportunity to relax and savour the atmosphere when not out on the course; the Championship Village will host a number of exhibition and retail units, interactive activities and public catering facilities for the whole family to enjoy.
