The famous golf correspondent and writer Pat Ward Thomas stayed at our Dormy House on a number of occasions and described it as "the finest example of a Dormy House in my experience. It stands, a handsome building, within its own policies and remains solely to serve the purpose for which it was built. I love the moment of awakening and looking across the beautiful sleek lawn of putting green to the Links, peacefully the day's activities begin. All is quiet save perhaps for a greenkeeper making sure that everything is in order: one can linger in the wonderful bath and then stroll over to breakfast in the Clubhouse, past the little garden that always seems to be ablaze with colour whenever I am there."
A stay in our Dormy House is indeed a unique experience and it enables you to play on days and at times when visitors not staying with us are not permitted on the Course. An examination of our Dormy rates against our Visitors Green Fee rates shows the truly exceptional value for money being offered to Dormy Guests.
